Huge head, amber color. Bretty but with caramel and berry notes. Finishes on earthy notes. Somewhat sour, but not refreshing or particularly tasty.

Note: Batch 434
A: Pours a hazy golden orange amber in color with heavy amounts of active visible carbonation rising quickly from the bottom of the glass, some moderate amounts of dark yeast particulates in suspension, and moderate amounts of ruby red highlights. The beer has a four finger tall foamy dark tan head that slowly reduces to a medium to large sized finger tall thick cap in the center surrounded by a thick film covering the remainder of the surface and a thick ring at the edges of the glass. Significant amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate aromas of spicy yeast, funky barnyard brett-like, and dark fruits (plum) over the top of lighter aromas of apple cider and dark malts.
T: Upfront there is a light to moderate flavor of bready malts with a light amount of dark malts as well. There is just a hint of sweetness with some flavors of dark fruit (plum) and apple cider. There is a light flavor of spicy yeast and a moderate amount of funky brett-like flavor as well. Minimal amounts of tartness/sourness and no bitterness to speak of.
M: Just shy of medium bodied with moderate to heavy amounts of carbonation. Slightly dry and just a hint of acidic prickliness.
O: A bit more of a gusher than I expected (and the owner at my regular local bottle shop gave me fair warning on this one) and pours with a ridiculous amount of head - took a lot of effort and multiple pours to get the contents of the 12 oz bottle into my glass to drink. Interesting but not sure that I would grab this one again.

Aroma is brett, spices, malts and a hint of sweetness. The flavor is citrus, fruit, brett, malts, mild sweetness and a tart/sour finish.

Terrible. I love wild beers and accept that with the genre gushers come along, but this was the worst. No redeeming qualities. Ended up dumping most of it. At $4 for 12 oz., this was a serious loser. Too many good American wild beers available to waste $ on this import.

Very nice - a unique alternative yeast offering from Catalonia. Been having some cool beers from the area lately.
Beauty is unfiltered, and this bad boy is like looking into the plankton-rich waters of the puget sound, with rays of light dancing about through the finger wide sticky lacing. A deep amber color, with hints of gold.
A satisfying, bready mouthfeel accompanied by notable spiced apple cider tastes, a poignant sour bite, and a none-too lingering but nonetheless enjoyable burst of resiny hoppiness. The low percentage (3.3%) was something of a surprise, and I would love to try it if they made a higher gravity version, but it was not overly sweet as is. Perhaps it is due to the properties of the alternative yeast (Kluyveromyces).
I am always searching for that elusive funk like the good guys at Omnipollo provide, and this slaked some part of that thirst, at least until they show NYC some love again.
