Oct. 2011: Shared bottle, RBNAG 2011. Black colour, tan head. Nice roasty aroma with notes of sweet malts, hints of cigarbox and liquorice. Roasty flavour, nice moderate sweetness, coffee notes, hints of liquorice, decent hops. A pleasant surprise from Spain!

De color marrón, con una pequeña espuma de retención media. Cuerpo medio y baja carbonatación. Aroma maltoso y a regaliz. Sabor tostado con notas de chocolate, equilibrada con un retrogusto largo.

On tap. Dark brown color with tan head. Aroma has roasted malt and burned bread crust. Taste follows with roasted malt bitterness. Medium body and carbonation. Decent, easy drinking, roast forward stout.

Another Guineu, quite a grab-bag brewery I will say. Never sure what you're gonna get with them. No bottled-on date but a best-by of 9/2017.
A - 330ml pour to an oversized wine glass. A dark brown pour with a bit of light getting through and reddish highlights. Pretty much no head on the pour but a thin ring+beige bubbles around the edge, which does retain for the duration. A few lace bits left.
S - Primarily cocoa and bread, with touches of smoke and wet dog. Or maybe wet rat, considering. Kinda faint on the whole.
T - Caramel and dark fruit come out here with some licorice hanging in there too. Less cocoa and more of a solid roasted malt profile. Light grassy+citrus hops break on through. Still kind of a weird off-flavor going on but it's not too obtrusive.
M - Lowish carbonation as hinted from the appearance but a bit of bubbly going on. Slick feel, decent body but a bit flimsy overall.
O - Er, not bad, but shoddy for sure. Lacking carbonation, some weird off-flavor, not a whole lot of stout characteristics when it comes down to it. Some decent flavors going on though.
