500ml bottle. Shaker glass. Enjoyed on jul´13. Dark brown color. Beige froth, not much retention. Toasted caramel malts, ripe figs, brown sugar, molasses & subtle floral fragrance to the nose. Creamy sweet toasted malt at first sip, hints of fudge chocolate. Cloying sensation. Full body. Moderate carbonation. Hints of licorice in the middle & citric hues. Citric astringency & long sweet/bitter finish. Unexpected coming from Ca L´Arenys.
