Took a trip down to Colorado Springs last week, mainly to visit this brewery. Had this one on tap in the tasting room. Poured a light yellow color with a big couple inch white head. Very phenolic on the nose, with aromas of smoke, banana and clove. On the palate, light bodied and very smoky, with flavors of smoke, clove and bananas.

Sampled a pint at the brewery. Arrived a very cloudy lemony yellow color with a slight orange hue throughout. A soft white head with good retention and lacing but did hide to the edge of the glass.
The nose is a mixed bag. A light smoky aroma with a nice malt backing. Some wheat notes but limited with everything going on. The banana notes really come out as well, but don't overpower anything. A very light clove aroma, would have liked to see a bit more coming out. Overall a good aroma where everything is in balance.
The taste is similar. The smoke backs off a bit versus the nose but is still present. The smoke is balanced well with the malt and yeast notes (which is good, too much smoke really is off setting). The wheat comes out more versus the nose and leaves a slight spicy note on the backend. The banana and cloves are light but still present. Would like a touch more. Some banana and definite yeasty notes in the finish.
The body is light and easy drinking. Would like a touch more body but im being nit picky here. Overall a very tasty beer. Impressive how everything is very balanced overall.
