Server called this an "Imperial Nut Brown".
Pours a nice deep chocolate brown with one finger of tan head. The smell is rather flat, lots of alcohol with just a slight roasted, nutty malt behind it. The taste is more of the same. Lots of alcohol up front. Not a burning or harsh alcohol though, kind of like a good vodka. Behind the alcohol I get just a touch of rosted nutty malts but not much else. The mouthfeel was kind of slick from the alcohol. Overall, glad they only serve this in half pints. I am glad the alcohol was not harsh but it really covered up all the other flavors, definitely won't try this one again.
