Pitch black and opaque with a dark tan head. Aroma is of bitter chocolate and a touch of coffee. Taste is very much of bitter chocolate. Quite bitter. A touch of sweetness in the finish. Mouthfeel is a bit grainy, but otherwise very enjoyable. Overall an impressive beer that really highlights the bitter side of the coca nib. Wonderful for a cold evening, which we get so few of here in Florida.
