Pour from a growler brought to RBWG-2014 by the brewery.
Pours clear dark red-brown; very good head.
Aroma: lots of rye barrel; sweet.
Flavor: a bit more rye barrel influence than optimal. No burnt grains.
Medium-bodied, smooth with moderate carbonation.
ABV rather well hidden.

Pours a nice, slightly hazy amber brown with a very thin tan head that faded quickly. Decent collar and lacing. Aroma is boozey, toffee and earthy. Taste is earthy-sweet toffee, boozey (maybe rum?) and dark stone fruits. Medium body and low carbonation.
