This is a standard pale ale that is done pretty well. No bells and whistles, just a good beer for all four seasons. Beware, the "In Session," name is a reference to the Florida Legislature, which meets at the Capitol, about a mile away from the brewery. It is not a session ale in the low ABV sense.

This was good. I'm spending a couple of days in Tallahassee so I'm planning on visiting Proof multiple times. Nice and hoppy, very citrusy for sure. Very crisp. Just a standard pale ale done well. I will say I was expecting a lower abv because of "session" in the name, but the alcohol kick at the end was much more noticeable. I almost thought they had given me the wrong beer. But no... this is a great APA that borders a stronger IPA. I liked it a lot.
