This is probably one of my favorite beers from Proof. However, this review is based on the most recent batch, which probably isn't my favorite batch. Nonetheless, an awesome beer!
Look: Not the look of a De Garde fruited gose, however it still looks great, pinkish-redish clean looking beer, but not as great as their last batch
Smell: bread yeast, salt, funky tartness, then you get some berry sweetness
Taste: Sour upfront, everything you look for in a gose, but the raspberry isn't hugely prominent
Feel: this was a surprisingly full feeling beer which I don't come to expect from your everyday gose, but it was smooth and refreshing.
Overall: kind of hard to compare things to De Garde, which I feel should almost be the standard for fruited sours in America, however this is an awesome beer by a relatively new brewery, and one of my favorites.
