Growler filled a few days ago, very low pour
Pours a small fizzy off white head, fades quickly, dark ruby brown colour
Nose sweet stout, little caramel and syrup, lactose sugar, light roasty coffee, Lyme fudgey chocolate, light sweet toasty brown malts
Taste toasted sweet brown malts, brown sugar, caramel, molasses, light roasty coffee, barely any roasty malt, but sweet and syrupy like, lactose sugar too I think, medium bitterness from spicy hops, drying a bit on the finish and getting more spicy bitter
Mouth is med bod, a bit flat with light carb, touch syrupy
Overall it's not bad but not anything special, it's more like a brown ale that a stout, other than maybe lactose and sweetness level of a sweet stout, barely any roast or coffee/chocolate, and overall way too sweet
