Favorite beer of this style from my youth and college as well.. Was good most of the time even though it had a ceramic top. Wish they still brewed this beer.

As with most of Fischer’s beers they fail to meet my standards for acceptability and this one falls right into line. The beer pours a limpid gold with a bright white head that is average in size and frothy in texture, the lace a very thin but covering sheet. Nose is crisp and fresh, mostly malt, sweet and the start sweet with a fair malt presence, top is fair to middling in feel. Finish has a brisk acidity, the hops adequate and the aftertaste dry, just average, just to light for me, but not a total loss.

Again reaffirming my belief that the French don't make good beer. Pours a light amber color with a small head an no lacing. The aroma was very skunky but there were some hop and malt hints in there - nothing too strong. The flavor was a little skunky too. There were traceable hints of malt in the flavor but not enough - this beer really has no character in my opinion.
