Enjoyed while watching planes land at sunset beach st marteen.
A: single finger head on a clear pale golden body.
S: sweet and fruity with lime dominating. Not much else. Fairly aromatous
T: very sweet and syrupy. Mostly lime. More like a soft drink. The extra lime hides the already subtle tequila flavors.
M: light to medium body. Light to moderate carbonation.
Overall: with this one mas means less. This is an alcoholic lime soda. Not beer

We pour a brew the color of darker goldenrod into our pint glasses. It holds a one and a half finger head that is flour white. Retention is poor, but sticky lacing is left around the glass. The brew is crystal clear, with no sediment, and highly active carbonation. The nose is full of huge synthetic lime and tinny metals. White sugar sweetness is overwhelming, with a leafy spice and overripe bananas. The taste begins with synthetic watermelon and cantaloupe sitting atop candy sweetness. There is further sweetness and bitterness of metals. Through the middle the pale malts become more active. Unfortunately, so does the sweetness. This comes in the form of lime concentrate, cantaloupe, and lemongrass. We finish with tropical fruit, and more of those hollow, metallic malts. The final punch is from mango and pineapple. The aftertaste breathes much light a diet tropical punch drink, full of aspartame sweetness. There is also a breath of citrus, and sour emptiness. The body is light to medium and the carbonation is champagne-high. There is biting dryness from the metals and the sugars, with little froth, smack, or coating to substantiate the sip. The abv is appropriate, and this drinks as easily as fruit juice.
Overall, this best thing about this beer is how light it is. We literally started laughing after taking the first sip. Although labeled and marketed as a beer, they should seriously reconsider calling this a “wine cooler”. The fruit and sugars are at a bizarre interplay, and I’m not sure if they are trying to get us drunk or give us type 2 diabetes. At no point is this distinguishable as a “beer”, other than the light malts through the center, but these, for the most part, are unintelligible. More than anything, this beer is erratic and just plain old weird.

Strong foam. Lemony nose which immediately gives aromas of lime (or lemon flavoring instead of green if you want to be precise). So for the body of the beer, let's be honest, if already the version to 5.9 ° does not tasted beer or alcohol, should expect a lot of things with an extra-flavored version 3 of the Desperados classic. And it is right because eventually, in the mouth, we just feel a juice flavored drink. Well, yes, it's easy to drink but to slip such a drink, drink as much Pulco lime, it tastes the same and at least it does not contain alcohol.
