This poured to a slightly brown shade of red with little head. It left nice wavey rings of lace as I drank it.
The smell is a little low on flavor and a little high on alcohol. Strange, considering the relatively meager (for the style) alcohol content. The taste was a better reflection of the beer's contents, and pretty good.
All things considered, this is a pretty nice beer. The mouthfeel and taste are a little light, but it's pretty easy to drink and it is pleasing.
