02/16/05- Purchased at Nugget Market in Vacaville, CA
Presentation- 22oz bomber poured into my 24oz glass mug. No expiration or born on dates.
Appearance- Orange-yellow coloring with a big foamy head, which soon dissipates and lacking much lacing.
Smell- Sweet malt and a bit of hops. Orange peel scent.
Taste- Orange medicinal flavored malt with slight bitter hops in the background. About as sweet as a blonde should be.
Mouthfeel- Above average carbonation with a dry mouthfeel.
Drinkability- Kinda grows on you. The first couple sips I wasn't at all impressed. As I finished the bottle it became a bit more drinkable. No need to try it again for me though. Have had many better blondes. No pun intented :)
