Copenhagen 5/8 2019. 50 cl bottle from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Usual design from the 69 N brand with a hazy Photo of people struggling in the Arctic with a light brown stripe with the name of the beer.
Pours clear dark brown with a red hue. Medium-sized white head. Stable. Settles as 1 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the side of the glass. No Lacing.
Aroma is dark, sweet and with a herbal touch. Caramel, sugar, cardboard, butter, dark malts, licorice, anise, juniper and fennel.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, oily, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is rather sweet followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish with a light touch of herbs. A bit thin.
Quite a weird concept of mixing Jägermeister Kraut bitter and beer. A watered down herbal beer seems to be the result.
