Copenhagen 18/8 2018. 50 cl bottle from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb F. Old picture of some Inuits chasing a Seal on the label. The tagline is "The Taste of History". Quite bewildering text on the label. It seems that the beer is brewed in Estonia while using Glacier water from Iceland. Not exactly a sustainable supply-line.
Pours clear yellow with a medium-sized, bubbly white head. Settles as thin almost transparent layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is of sweet pale malts and slightly metallic with a touch of minerals. Might be the Gletcher water. Light sour, sharp notes.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, watery, prickly texture.
Flavor is rather sweet followed by medium bitterness. Aftertaste is medium bitter. Fairly short.
I am not sure how the Inuits on the label, the Estonian brewery, the Glaciers of Iceland and Tisvilde in Denmark fits together. And how it all reflects the taste of history. But the taste of History apparently is pretty generic.
