Copenhagen 11/12 2016. 50 cl bottle from Meny, Østerfælled Torv, Kbh. Ø. Hazy picture of what I assume is "Isfjord" on the label with an Ice Crystal to ensure that I understand that this beer comes from a very cold place. Even though it seems to originate from an Estonian brewery.

Pours clear nutty brown with an off-white head. Stable. Settles as a 0,3 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing on the side of the glass.

Aroma of sweet caramel and syrup with a metallic edge. A little butter in there as well.

Soft carbonation and slightly thick palate. Almost flat texture.

Flavor is heavy sweet followed by a medium strong bitterness. Lightly bitter and slightly metallic aftertaste.

The best one of the "Ice Cap Beers" I have tasted yet - but that does not make it very great.
