A 500ml clear glass bottle with a BB of May 2012, so it's just out of date. Picked up recently from an off-licence - cheap!
Poured into a straight pint glass. A clear golden hue with low carbonation. Forms a decent head of white foam that lasts for a minute or two before disappearing. Aroma of faint malt, stewed leaves, overcooked veg and a metallic hint. Not great.
Tastes of light malt with a mild finish. Notes of stewed leaves, corn and overcooked veg. A subtle yet harsh dryness upon swallowing. Mouthfeel is smooth and tingly, but watery and insubstantial. Aftertaste of overcooked veg and cardboard.
Bleh - not too good. A crappy lager with no character and some unpleasant off-notes. Not recommended, avoid!
