Copenhagen 28/6 2022. 33 cl bottle from BulgarskMad, Åboulevarden, Kbh. N. Black label with 9 small runes set in a quadrant.
Pours opaque dark brown with mid-sized light beige head. Stable. Settles as thin layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, roasted odor mingling with a tad of licorice. Dark roasted malts, toffee and caramel. Hints of sour milk.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, gently tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweet undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry.
Not much alcohol for the style. But an intense and well-balanced Porter.
