The royally golden, easy-drinking brew uses three noble hops along with 'Northern Brewer', the mildly fruity 'Spalt', the grassy resinous 'Tettnanger' and the peppery aroma of 'Hallertauer Mittelfrüh' with the nuances of a recently mown meadow have long become classics in variations of a traditional Pilsen beer. In the delicate bouquet of scents of Valmiermuiža palace beer, herbal and resin tones prevail, under which a light and gentle malt base can be read. A calm, muted bitterness with a hint of honeyed meadow pleases the crisp taste.

Copenhagen 4/12 2022. 50 cl bottle from BulgarskMad, Åboulevarden, Kbh. N. Green label with a little golden logo with a tower and a gate.
Pours clear golden yellow with a huge white head. A bit bubbly. Settles as 0,5 cm thick, fluffy layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with a bit of grass and grains. Sweet pale malts, bread, cardboard and cereal. freshly mown grass and bit of sour grains.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed and balanced by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweet undertone. Lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry.
A bit flat but well balanced.
