Bought a 4-pack on closeout at a grocery store about a month ago...someone on another site said they were last brewed in June of this year, so this has at least 3 months of aging on it.
A=Dark reddish brown, hinting towards orange...a nice, creamy, off-white head.
S=Cream and malt, with a touch of sweetness.
T=Caramel, plums, maybe apricot...a bit of bourbon near the end.
M=Very drinkable...almost no carbonation, nice moderate body, no sourness or tang.
O=A phenomenal beer that I hope they brew more often...definitely a strong malt presence with minimal hops, but loads of flavor. Might be the best Wisconsin beer I've ever had.
