A: light, straw-colored, much like the kolsch I've had in Koln
S: light nose, but still decent
T: very good, well-balanced, clean, a bit of malt presence
M: very good, clean, crisp, refreshing
D: very drinkable
This is a very good example of a Kolsch.

on tap at the brewpub in St. Francis. pours a crystal clear golden amber with a single finger of tight white head and solid lacings. good retention; looks great in the glass.
aroma is of light lager yeast with a floral character and a distant honey-like sweetness. crisp and fresh in the nose.
taste follows the nose with a wonderful lager yeast and floral character. a very fresh and crisp brew with a refreshing aura. this is a solid kölsch on the palate, with a freshness that can only be achieved fresh from the taps.
mouthfeel is light bodied and very crisp on the palate with a supurbly smooth finish of a touch of honey-like sweetness on the back end.
drinkability is great. light, crisp and flavorful, not to mention very fresh. a very well composed brew with a profile that holds up well after a bit of warming. cheers!
