cool showcase of this sexy new hop in a very drinkable and well done hazy, lighter than many, not full of sediment and starch, not overly full bodied, and on the dry side, so the dry hopping really pops. yellowish beer with a frosted look to it and a decent head from tap with some lace. the nose is wonderfully fresh, i get heady weed right away, tangerine, pineapple, coconut, and mandarin oranges from the can, a little honey floral layer too, and just a light crackery thing from the grain, simple. juicy flavor from the hops too, and they start nice and early, pineapple candy, pine sap, and a little it of a peach nectar thing, really good, and quite unique both in flavor and in how early it hits and how it fades at the end, if this is a specific property of sultana hops, thats pretty neat. the body is smooth and medium, the carbonation is lively, and the finish is pretty quick for a hazy one. overall very good, different from the crowd, and probably the best hoppy beer i have had from black raven to date. i expect this hop to blow up in the coming years!
