Poured from 16oz can into a dimpled mug. Canned on 7/25/22. This is a collaboration they did with Flatstick Pub, a local chain of beer & mini golf joints.
Appearance: light yellow hue with a crystal-clear body and a dash of visible effervescence. Head is a finger of frothy eggshell foam that stuck around for a little bit.
Smell: light malt with a little bit of something that smells a bit adjunct-ey and an interesting, perhaps a bit citrusy, hop character. Not too bad.
Taste: smooth, slightly grainy malt with a citrusy, perhaps even a little bit spicy and dank hop character. Not a traditional pilsner in my opinion, but an interesting and tasty take on the style.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: this beer is kinda different. It has a little bit of the hop-forward character you see in some "pre-prohibition" lagers. It works for me.
