Pours copper with a mild fog the translucency. Head is two fingers of dense off-white foam. Aroma is piney, resiny, and herbaly hops with bready malts and lemon zest just behind. As a whole, it smells semi-sweet being a heavy malt bomb at the back. Flavor profile is a blend of pine, herbal, and resin hops mixed with lemon zest. Mild caramel adds some sweetness. More hops than the nose implies, providing a sticky taste with some burn right at the back. Mouth feel is medium in thickness. Texture is fuzzy with a little silty grit right at the close. Overall, a sticky IPA with a nice firm, heavy malt base.

Clear yellow amber brew with abundant foam in the Belle-Vue Gueuze glass. This is super fruity aromatic with a whiff of citrus and endless apricot in the nose. Rather sweet and malty with plenty of spritz on the tongue. Flavors of peach and mango with apricot nectar and a touch of something woodsy. Moderate bitterness in the aftertaste. Powerful stuff. From the 16 oz can purchased at Community Coop in Mount Vernon. Dated 12/13/23.
