Grabbed this bottle on my most recent (and first) trip to Malt & Vine. Awesome store with knowledgeable staff.
Pours a bright, crystal clear pale yellow. Minimal white head.
Smells sweet and floral/malty. Mostly pilsner malts.
Taste is sweet and somewhat sticky. I can close my eyes and tell that this is a maibock. Clean and simple. A bit heavy on the aftertaste.
Light carbonation makes this an easy drinker.
Nice example of a helles bock. Smooth drinking with a good kick.
