Honey gold color with good cap and lacing.
Aroma of caramel malt touched with honey. Little hop presence noted but that's not the emphasis here.
Taste on entry is caramely malt and yes, honey sweetness. Hops are there but play a distant secondary role. I got a good deal less sweetness than I was expecting, it seems counter intuitive that a honey ale would have an element of dryness but Ghost River manages to pull that off here. Hops are just enough to keep things in balance.
Medium texture with balancing carbonation.
Very easy to drink with a clean smoothness that should appeal to a wide range of palates.

This is hands down my favorite beer.
It's so smooth and easy to drink, the honey adds an almost fruity floralness to it, and a very nice after taste as well.
I'd rate this higher, but I'll let you decide.
