Draft at Ghost River. Poured a clear, golden orange color with a small, khaki-colored head of foam. It left sudsy lacing. It smelled of roasted coffee, caramel and toffee. Nice roasted coffee notes with caramel and a mld bitterness.

Yikes a best on date of Jan. 2020. so ten months past that.
LOOK: Pours a very clear but thin looking light orange with an off white head. Head retention is average.
AROMA: Definite coffee with cream in it aroma. Not much else.
TASTE: Nope, not for me. Too thin, and the coffee flavor is poor and as a beer or ale this one fails to deliver.

12 oz can, best by Feb 2021 (oops.)
Bearded Iris Homestyle glass.
Toasted orange color with a stable finger of head. Leaves lacing as it is swirled. Passes the test.
Aroma of funky cheddar, yeast, coffee, and blonde malts. Maybe a hint of berry.
Flavor is basic blonde ale with a hint of infection and virtually no coffee. Okay, maybe some. But barely. Some floral notes pop up here and there. Berry-twang-infection-injection. This isn't going to last long.
Feel is crisp, carbonated, slightly starchy, mild alcohol heat.
Overall, a dumper. Sorry Memphis, your game is wack. Won't revisit.

This beer disappointed me as I’m a big fan of Ghost Rivers Grindhouse cream ale...
Poured from a can into a Pint glass.
Golden colored with some haze.
Not much on the nose for me...
Taste was somewhat raw, like Unfermented homebrew, which isn’t bad honestly, but not what I was expecting. I personally didn’t get any coffee flavor, maybe some very subtle vanilla.
Not a bad beer, but will not buy again.

This is Ghost River's variant of Grindhouse cream ale with added coffee and vanilla.
L - hazy straw with thin cap
S- malts with hints of coffee and vanilla
T- follows the nose with vanilla up front followed by a slight coffee finish
F - medium bodied leaving a little stickiness
Overall this is one of my favorites from Ghost River. I really like the twist on their normal cream ale adding to the depth of flavor. Coffee isn't just for stouts anymore. I like the experimentation and would gladly pick up another sixer.
