Ghost River Witbier is a Belgian style wheat beer flavored with orange peel and coriander. The use of unmalted wheat gives the beer a cloudy, “white” appearance. This unique coloring gives the beer its name. “Wit” is Flemish for “white”. The relatively high carbonation, along with the wheat, produces a thick, bountiful head when the beer is poured. Ghost River Witbier’s crisp and refreshing character is perfect for summertime. Often served with a slice of orange.

A- Very pale yellow, hazy, though less so than most in style. Head is big and billowy, though it dissapates down to a solid finger, leaving pretty decent lacing.
S- Smell is definitely "wheat twang" than spice. Spice is there, but it stays in background.
T- Ah, the spice is far more bold here. Coriander and wheat go hand in hand here. If you're looking for an orange peel heavy wit, this is not it. Definitely spice-forward. finish is long and spicy.
M- Carbonation is a tad low on this one. I usually like a bit more zip from this style. That said, the body to it is pretty spot on.
O- A pretty good wit. Nothing that will knock your socks off, just because it's a bit one dimensional, but it is super easy to drink. I would daresay that this would be a great backyard barbeque beer, and one I think a lot of people would enjoy, even among the non-craft crew.
