served on tap at wimberely brewpub in a 16 oz flute glass. pours a very thick deep red with about a finger of nice brownish white head that had alot of retention and lacing. looks great.
smell is very subtle. only a tad hoppy with a basic red malt bill behind it. a bit of a "corn" smell to it but its not a big deal. no heat.
at first the taste is very bitter but quickly evens out with a very smooth sweetness. no heat. very well balanced.
mouthfeel is very smooth. a nice portion of hop oils coating your mouth. no stickiness.
very drinkable. a session beer that would be great to have for a night or outdoors in the heat. i had two.
