Solid beer overall, and not gimmicky the way a lot of "Grapefruit IPA" beers are these days. Smell is grapefruit-strong, and really radler-esque because the grapefruit is so dominant. But the taste isn't sweet and artificial, but actually pithy and bitter like real grapefruit, with balancing pine, grass, and a respectable malt backbone. You have to like strong citrus and bitterness to like this beer, but I do so it's a good fit. Look and feel are also solid, if not particularly noteworthy. It's not Ballast Point Grapefruit Sculpin, but it's an enjoyable beer. Solid offering and a fantastic beverage for a hot summer day.

One of the worst beers I've ever had. Expected a hoppy IPA with a hint of grapefruit; what I got was pure grapefruit juice with a hint of beer.

Slightly hazy light golden amber color with a 1.5 finger white foamy head. Smell is big fresh grapefruit up front with a hint of orange and white bread. Not surprisingly, there is ruby red grapefruit at first taste, but this evolves to also show pine, grass, earth tones, and bread. Moderately bitter with a nice clean finish. Nice and dry. Definitely one of the better grapefruit IPAs I've had. This will be a great summer beer - looking forward to many cans of this in my future!
