Very fresh exemplar, straight from the brewery.
Bright golden color with a thin head with short retention.
Delicious aroma with lots of tropical fruits juice. Notes of passion fruit, peaches, mango, pineapple, caramel and mint.
Hoppy forward flavor with notes of resin, pineapple, grapefruit, spices, tea leaves, pine, lemon grass and passion fruit. Quite dry aftertaste with a long lasting bitterness that made me sneeze.
It feels more than its 61 IBUs given its light body and mild carbonation. Alcohol of 6.5% abv is well hidden.
A true APA with superb aroma and a nice pleasant bitterness (at 6.5% abv this is not a Session IPA and it does not have a body of an IPA). Hoppy as the best APA have been currently brewed in the US. I am truly satisfied to have such brew produced locally. Congratulations.
