Amber copper color with a thin head with short retention
Predominant aroma of grainy malt, vanilla, wood and caramels.
Malty flavor with notes of resin, toasted and caramel malts, tobacco, charred wood, some citrus, vanilla, red fruits, coconut and coffee. Dry and bitter aftertaste.
Full body with appropriate carbonation. Alcohol of 9.5% abv is very well hidden. Mildly sticky.
Decent Barley Wine, I am glad to see locals producing different styles and the result was quite satisfactory. It has good complexity with hops balancing its sweetness.
