Fresh on-tap at A Mercearia Curitibana. On to the beer:

Served with a yellow golden body and topped with a creamy head with fine retention. The aroma is spicy, and filled with citrus and canteloupe notes. The hops pop out to greet the palate, at first bringing "soft" notes of cantaloupe. Resin and woody notes compliment the fruit. Any chance New Zealand hops were used? The beer is light/medium bodied, and smooth in texture. As a hoppy experience, I think it was a good one.

Fresh from the brewery. Amber color with a thick one finger head with decent retention and leaving laces.
Nice aroma with notes of lychees, passion fruit, some biscuit malt, mild caramel and just a hint of pine.
Flavor is less tropical with dank piney and spicy hops, American yeast, grapefruit, perfume, ginger, mild honey and lots of lemon. Dry and bitter aftertaste. 45 IBUs well taken care for.
Light body with appropriate carbonation with tiny bubbles.
This was actually pretty good, hoppy and refreshing. Not unique, but well crafted. I wish its flavor mirrored in its aroma.

Billed as "session" IPA, the beer that is part gimmick and part craft strikes the senses of standard pale ale and perhaps of the British variety. But in a world where creative marketing is growing scarce, there is no threat for these Brazilian brewers and their fucking beers.

The ale pours with a hazy honey-amber and takes on a soft glow. Capped with a foamy sheet, its creamy appearance leads to fruity, herbal and malty-sweet aromas in initial taste. Grapefruit, lemon and apple rest upon caramel and honey sweetness in even-keel fashion.

As the biscuit of malt and the earthy floral nature of hops swirl on the middle palate, they align in balance, never favoring sweetness or bitterness. Light fruit of apricot, orange and mango, wrapping into the bready sweetness with marmalade-like effects. Growing herbal and peppery bitterness meets that of sweetness and both extend well into finish.

Medium-bodied and with starchy malt density, the beer's firm balance closes the taste with a light linger of bitter stems, bruised apple, ginger spice and honey sweetness.
