Dark amber with a cloudiness, little small bubbled carbonation and a half finger of off white head.
White grapes, bubblegum, dark toasty notes, dark and fruity.
Kids Bazooka bubble gum, dark toasted notes, bananas, clean linen.
Medium thick body, moderate sprite like carbonation.
Found in Chiang Mai, drank in Mae Jo May 17, 2016 on my silent spiritual retreat. Good brew. A little flat and lacking, but overall, not bad.

Had to google translate this one. So, apparently matured in vermouth barrels, with local herbs (ground-ivy, ground elder and meadowsweet). Reading about them, i'll expect some mintiness, floral notes and who know what else.
Pours very dark brown, small head that vanishes, leaving an extremely thin lace.
Smell is not what i expected, there's the cellar feel that i got from all the other Gusswerk brews, banana, raisins and some wintercake spices (faint ginger, amaretto, cinnamon). No weirdness here.
Taste starts with roasted malts and dark bread, some juicy dark fruits (plum, raisin), a touch of zesty citrus and some faint caramel. Spices follow the smell, not too strong. There's a mustiness, yes, and a minty herbal freshness, some sweet tea notes, but they don't dominate, instead they liven up the finish, cancelling any dark malt roughness. Low bitterness, aftertaste of spices and herbs, but mostly dark bread.
Very light, low to medium carbonation, one of those dark beers that are very easy to drink.
I actually enjoyed this one a lot. Sure, the advertised wackiness isn't that apparent, expected more, but it's definitely there and really helps the brew.
