On tap at Upright yesterday.
A clear orange with a dense, white head with excellent retention and lacing, this looks great. The nose is rather muted. A clean hop character is present, with earth, leaf, a little bit of herb, along with an enjoyable toasted malt aroma that brings to mind toasted white bread drizzled with honey. The palate is similar, opening with a more pronounced bitterness than I was expecting, a blend of an earthy bitterness and a touch of minty herbaceousness. The toasted malt character on the palate is excellent. Drying on the finish with a blend of toast and mint present, this light-bodied beer is decent.
