Growler from the brewery.
Pouring a mildly hazy orange with a dense, off white head with excellent retention and gorgeous lacing, this looks great! The nose is bright, pungent and hoppy. Fruity with aggressive citrus, pine, citrus pith and a mild dried tropical fruit note. Malt character is mild with just a little doughy malt character, a touch of oatmeal like fruitiness and a little honey. The palate opens with a pleasing bitterness, a blend of oily and resiny hops, citrus and mildly pine like. Moderate juicy hop flavor is present, but really, this is dominated by the bitterness. A touch grassy as well. The mid palate has a mild sweetness, a blend of citrus juice and honey. Drying, bitter, mildly pungent on the finish, this beer is medium light in body and moderately carbonated. Nice, enjoyable finish. Recommended.
