On tap at the source. Single malt from Joseph's ’s Grainery
A clear amber with a thin beige head. The nose is a blend of hops and malt, the hops being a blend of spicy continental hops and citrus and fruity hops - not quite English but not American either, as far as barleywines go. There's not a whole lot of malt complexity, its malty, mildly toffee like with caramel and a little nutty flavor. Mildly boozy on the finish. Drying, but with a little heft, boozy and hoppy on the finish. Solid.
