On tap at Upright.

Jet black with a dense, Brown head with good retention and stunning lacing. The nose is very vinous, with fruit, barrel, cocoa and Upright's saison yeast clear. As a Belgian stout, it shines, reminiscent of Black Albert. Buckwheat honey, toasted wheat bread, there's so much fruitiness from the wine barrel, it's amazing. Mild char, vanilla, a touch of oxidation. The palate opens with a robust roasted malt character, a little bitter, dark caramel, cocoa, bitter dark chocolate, followed by the pinot. Fruity with a mildly jammy very character. Drying, roasty on the finish. Medium in body with soft in carbonation. A little vanilla on the finish. Yummy.
