On tap at the brewery today. So different from regular Four!
Unlike other versions, this retains the look of Four - clearish with a dense, white head, no color from the barrels. The nose is excellent. Bright with a blend of hay, lemons, clove, excellent Brett phenols, this is very aromatic. I also get a little bit of olive/brine character. Excellent stuff. On the palate, this shines. Tart and mildly sour with a little plastic and clove, some nice grain character and just a perfect American expression of Brett (a little heavier on clove and a little less on the horseblanket). Lemony, snappy, grassy and mildly hay-like, this is awesome.
