Dry Hopped Berliner Weisse is a straightforward open fermented brew that's nicely balanced with only moderate acidity. The addition of opal, willamette, and an experimental hop variety lends the beer an interesting nose with apple and jackfruit showing alongside floral notes. The jackfruit character carries into the flavor which finishes with a bit of wood and pine coming from that experimental hop.

Growler from the brewery.
Pouring a mildly hazy yellow with a dense, white head that falls off to a disk leaving a little lacing, this looks solid. The nose is lightly fruity, lightly tart with a blend of lemon and a touch of yogurt, a little bit of grain and a light floral character. The fruit character is interesting - a blend of floral (rose/ jasmine?) and tropical (papaya/jackfruit) is present, delicate and well balanced. The palate opens tart with a blend of mild lemony sourness and a lactic tartness, a little bit buttermilk-like. This segues to the blend of fruit that the nose had, with the papaya and jackfruit melding well with the lemony tartness. A touch of grape is present as well. Drying on the finish and very light in body and moderately carbonated. Refreshing stuff on this 90 degree night.
As far removed from Oregon's better known Berliner Weiss brewer (deGarde), what this beer lacks on the hedonic scale, it makes up for in refinement and drinkability. Highly recommended, though only if you can get a liter of it - a 5oz pour won't do this beer justice.
