Good for the style, but not incredibly complex or particularly interesting. Would have appreciated more obvious influence from the Brettanomyces.
White foam, near-immediate decline to nothing (no ring around the glass, etc). No lacing. Body is a bright yellow-gold color, with light bringing out brighter pale yellow hues. Fairly hazy, around 40-50% opacity.
Aroma is very good, a mix of lactic acid tartness, very mild Brett yeastiness, slight pale wheat and modest fruitiness.
Flavor is of moderate lactic acidity, bringing a bit of tartness, but no complexity (where is the Brettanomyces influence?). The tartness is on top of a pale wheat malt character that becomes more apparent as the initial tartness fades.
Beer is light to medium-light in body, with carbonation of medium intensity, resulting in a balanced foamy and smooth, lightly frothy (large bubbles) mouthfeel. Closes very dry, with no to light stickiness on the lips and palate.
