Upright Extra Dry is a pale ale done "brut" style and featuring comet as a dryhop above a backbone of other "c" hops - cascade, citra, and chinook, all yielding a strong nose but in a more drinkable format than the usual IPA base employed for the new, trendy style.

On tap at Upright.
A clear light orange with a dense white head with good retention and lacing this looks great. The nose is super perfumey with citrus, a light eucalyptus oil, mint oil, mild grape, grapefruit, and no real malt. The palate opens mildly bitter with orange peel and grapefruit peel with some delicate fruit. Honey, orange, grapefruit, grape and mild peach. Super light in body and mildly watery with a touch of mineral. Light in body and softly carbonated, this is a little too light. Decent.
