Hoppy Pub Ale is a throwback to dank, bitter beers, and perfect to celebrate the closing weeks of winter. Mecca Grade Opal 22 malt lends it a lovely dark amber hue, while a blend of comet and columbus hops carry an oily, resiny character through the finish.

On tap at the brewery.
Dark amber with a thin brown head with good retention and lacing. The nose is wonderfully hoppy with pine, grapefruit, mandarin, a little mint, and a toasty, grainy malt note. The palate opens bitter and resiny, clean, with pine, citrus, caramel and burnt sugar bitterness. Well and truly a throwback. Flacors of caramel are present on the mid palate. Drying, bitter on the finish with pine and grapefruit peel. Nicely done.
