Marzen is a traditional German lager, with solid malt flavors from the first whiff on through the finish. Our take is medium bodied with a pleasant mid-palate sweetness that turns extra soft on the tail end thanks to extensive lagering time.

On tap at the source.
A clear copper with a dense, beige head with good retention and lacing this looks good. Nose is deep, bready, caramel like with deep toast, wheat bread notes, Munich malt, melanoidons, mild but firm hops. The palate opens mildly sweet with toasted bread, caramel, toffee, a little earth, mild bitterness. Soft and creamy on the palate, astoundingly so. A mild mineral/ chlorine note is present that's confusing, but otherwise, this is stellar.

Drinking a crowler of this. The bitterness is a little more pronounced, and have a mild pine like accent to the earthy notes. Beautiful bread notes. Lovely.
