Gin Barrel Money Avenue takes the already deeply aromatic IPA to another
level, adding layers of citrus and spice with a hint of oak tannin to contrast
the low hop bitterness. This single cask version was lightly dryhopped
with Bru-1 just before being drawn from the barrel.

Crowler from the source.
A gorgeous light orange with a large, white head with excellent retention and lacing. The nose is very fragrant with gin barrel character dominating, a blend of bitter orange peel, juniper and a little coriander. This is followed by a really intriguing hop character, a blend of melon, candied orange. These two dominate the malt character that plays second fiddle.
The palate opens with a blend of gin and fruity hops, uniquely executed and with hardly any funk. Gin, mildly resiny and oaky with some tannins to go with the juniper and dried orange peel. The oak adds a mildly buttery note that works with the gin and citrus. Melon, a little honey, some clementine are all present. A miraculously flavorful and delicate finish with gin, oak, hops all in a seemingly impossible harmony. Mildly resiny and oily finish. Excellent.
