A clear yellow with a dense white head with good retention and lacing this looks great. The nose calls to mind previous iterations of barrel aged Four with stone fruit. Raw, grainy wheat with the classic Upright house funk and character, lightly fruity yeast, mild acidity and warm spice notes. Soft, vanillin accented nectarines, fruity, fleshy, ripe, clean, vibrant. The palate opens tart and refreshing with a light lactic tartness to go with the funk and soft fruit notes. Raw wheat again is noticeable. A touch of lime as well. Nectarine character is mild and reserved, eschewing the explosive fruit character that's the rage these days and focusing on balance instead. Drying, tart, snappy on the finish. A touch watery on the finish, but apart from that, this is great stuff.
