A clear deep brown, this looks good. The nose has a deep, toasty, mildly caramel like malt character, with bread, burnt wheat toast and a firm hoppiness. While a moderate sweetness is present on the nose, the palate is dry and firm, with the toasted bread and malt flavors on a dry, grainy backbone. Mildly bitter and toasty. Solid
