A clear dark amber with a dense off-white head with excellent retention and lacing. The nose is soft, creamy, delicately spicy with a nice nutty malt character to go with a nice EKG hop character. Toffee, burnt sugar. The palate opens soft and creamy with a nice , spicy bitterness that subtly complements the nutty and burnt sugar flavors. Drying, bitter, soothing on the palate. Yum.
