Cask at brewery in Portland. 3.6%. Dark brown. Creamy pale tan head. Aroma wet whole wheat bread and hint of chocolate. Taste light roasty raisin, hint of coffee candy. Dryish. Faint sour hint. Gently Lively feel. Tastes like a dark mild but with faint tinge more bitterness than used to in UK.

On cask at the source.
A hazy ruddy brown with a dense brown head with excellent retention and lacing. The nose is soft, nutty, delicately sweet with burnt toast, dark honey, a little cocoa and light hops. The palate opens creamy with burnt toast, caramel, a little toffee, a lingering sweetness. Cocoa and light chicory notes. Creamy, bitter on the finish. Sublime mouthfeel.
